Paranoia

PARANOIA

Viridian in color, Venus is rising.
Mars, rufescent, encircles,
Somewhere, lost in thought, I am a star,

Pebbles slip-slide off of my fingertips,
Dropping into a cesspool, sound reverberates.
My heart fibrillates.
Surface tension, magenta,
Who is watching me?

Planets fox-trot, in harmony with falling hail.
Staccato rhythm.
The sound reverberates, as my heart fibrillates.
Time has faded, carried within a squall.

Eyes ogle.
I make no contact.
I am being stalked?!
My heart fibrillates,
I am lost within my thoughts.

Time tiptoes by me, without a sound to be heard,
Leaving its footprints across vast terrain in the sky.

Venus rises, viridian-hued
Mars, rufescent encircles.
Tonight, I am the star,
Pebbles slip-slide off of my fingertips,
Falling into that cesspool, from some far away place.

I am being watched,
Time tiptoes by me, rolls off of my fingertips.
This time without a trace, and not a a sound can be heard-
Just the piercing sound-the eye of a storm- watching me?!
